2GHYT82W9C3500482 National Coach Lines Ltd. (AB) G.M.C. T6H5307N4/82STOREDHELP bumper;PM:I remember hearing about an accident involving bus 871 sometime around 1985 or 1986 (not sure of the date) on Government Street in downtown Victoria in front of the Parliament Buildings where 871's Maxi released or the Maxi was not set and the bus rolled unmanned in reverse to the waterfront wall. The rear of the bus aparently hung over the wall and was damaged on the rear engine tailgate door. This 1982 GM T6H-5307N was repaired and returned to service a while after the accident. The tailgate that is now on 871 is an updated TDH-5303 series engine door off of one of the 1963-64 TDH-5303 900 series GM Fishbowls (the ex-Chicago Safeway Lines buses) I think the engine door might be off of 903 which I think was the only one retired around that time as the others didn't get retired until after the 1988-1989 MCI Classics were delivered. VHS:MTN/L1 Outside Legislature Bldg in Victoria, perched on ledge of walkway. (News report) named Siera Loene for 1994 Commonwealth Games; 02/02: deplated from 3916BW; 04/08: 871-To National Coach Lines Calgary, AB, still in BCT paint and decalled, just as if it was just retired, but has some fire damage on the interior rear behind exhaust pipe area {KB} (MT);
